BackWPup plugin Dropbox API: (400) Bad input parameter

/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/inc/class-destination-dropbox-api.php: Dropbox API: (400) Bad input parameter: Error in call to API function "users/get_current_account": This app is currently disabled.
  • I believe that friends who have installed and enabled the backwpup plugin have this problem.

Because for security reasons, starting with BackWPup version 3.6.9, a new connection process to Dropbox has been implemented.

How to resolve Dropbox API: (400) Bad input parameter?

To prevent this, follow these steps:

  1. Install/Update BackWPup to the latest version: This can be achieved by updating the BackWPup installation as usual via the plugins section; or uninstalling the old copy and downloading and manually installing the latest version.
  2. If you are already authenticated in Dropbox, log out via BackWPup: this can be done by pressingDelete Dropbox Authenticationbutton finish ▼
