"Including the above-mentioned approved applications, the total number of beneficiaries of the National Caring Aid BPN has so far reached 1,060 million at a cost of RM110 billion."

The National Caring Aid (BPN) is the Caring People's Economic Booster Package announced by the Malaysian government during the MCO period to help low-income (B40) and middle-income (M40) singles and families.

• Recipients of the National Caring Assistance will receive assistance ranging from RM500 to RM1600 depending on their or their family’s income.
• if they were originallyliving aidbeneficiaries who receive NHS directly without applying;
• If they are individual income tax filers, the government will allocate aid based on income tax information.

For nonliving aid(BSH) recipients and individual income tax filers need to apply through the Inland Revenue Department website from April 2020, 4.
