DALL-E image is not perfect? Step-by-step guide to modify itAIWorks, instantly become a master!

While OpenAI’s DALL-E 3 excels at generating stunning visuals from simple prompts, it has yet to reach the industry standard set by Midjourney. This is partly due to the lack of a robust editing suite. This has been a problem in the past. DALL-E’s new editor interface has a key feature – the ability to select and regenerate specific parts of an image with new prompts.
The update was shared on OpenAI’s help page, which now highlightsNew editor interfaceThe interface has a "Select" option that you can use toAdd, Remove, and UpdateGenerate elements in the image. You can select any area or multiple areas depending on what you want to modify. Alternatively, you can bypass the selection and describe the edits you want directly in the dialogue panel on the right.
How to use the DALL-E editor to regenerate specific parts of an image
DALL-E 3's new editor interface provides an easy way to select the portion of an image you want to edit. You can change the contents of the selected area by modifying the prompt. To do this:
- First launch the web browser ChatGPT. Then select the conversation from the left sidebar where you created the image you wish to modify. If you haven't created one yet, enter a new prompt describing the image you wish to generate.
- In the conversation, tap the generated image you want to edit.

- This will open the new DALL-E Editor interface. From here, click on theSelect" option (Brush Icon).
- You should now see aCircular tool, which you can use to brush over the part of the image you want to modify. To resize the tool, drag thesliderYou can adjust the brush size when selecting different parts of the image.

- To select a section to modify, use the circular cursor to click and hover over the desired section.
- Once marked, the selected part will be highlighted in blue. At the same time, you will seeEdit Selection Text Box.
- Here you can enter a prompt describing the changes you want to make to the image. Once your prompt is ready, press Enter on your keyboard or click the up arrow icon in the bottom-right corner.

- DALL-E will begin creating a new image. When it is finished, you will see a preview of the modified image on the screen. You can download the image, or use the Select Tools for further editing.
- If you don't like the newly generated image, you can scroll up the dialogue panel on the right and view the original image again.

DALL-E’s new editor interface is also available in the ChatGPT app on iOS and Android. The instructions are roughly the same as the web editor. You can open an image, use the “Select” option, adjust the brush size, and describe your edits in a new prompt.
It is worth noting that the DALL-E editor is only available to ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise members.
If you have a free ChatGPT account, you can’t use it to create or edit images, which means you’ll need to pay at least $20 per month to try out this new feature.
If you register OpenAI in mainland China, you will see a prompt "OpenAI's services are not available in your country."▼

Since advanced features require users to upgrade to ChatGPT Plus to use them, it is difficult to activate ChatGPT Plus in countries that do not support OpenAI, and you need to deal with cumbersome issues such as foreign virtual credit cards...
If that's too expensive, you can opt for Midjourney's basic plan, which costs $10 less and offers a similar feature called "Vary Region," which regenerates a portion of an image.
However, the good news is that here I would like to introduce you to a very affordable website that provides ChatGPT Plus shared room accounts.
