Install VestaCP prompt: Following packages are already installed: httpd centos 7

If our VPS is installedLinuxSystem is CentOS 7. At the same time, the VPS provider provides a not very pure CentOS distribution, and Apache (httpd in CentOS) is installed by default.

Thus, inInstall VestaCP, the following prompt will appear:

• “Following packages are already installed: httpd centos 7”
• (already installed the followingsoftwarePackage: httpd centos 7)

It is highly recommended to remove them before proceeding.
If you want to force installation run this script with -f option:
Example: bash vst-install-rhel.sh --force

Error: Control Panel should be installed on clean server.

Solution

Step 1:run the following command 

yum remove httpd 

Step 2:Install httpd removal tool

After executing the following command:

yum remove httpd-tools

Is this ok [y/N]: (Ask whether to install?)

Enter y to install, you can delete httpd in CentOS ▼
