Preparation before installing WordPress

Step 1:Download the latest version of WordPress ▼

After unzipping, upload all the files in the WordPress folder to the root directory of your hosting space domain.

step 2:create a newMySQL database

• If not createdMySQL, please search the Internet for information, or ask your web hosting company.

New database information (example):

• Database name: demoxxx
• Database username: demoxxx
• Database password: demox123
• Host: localhost (usually localhost unless otherwise specified)

Install the WordPress program

Step 1:Create configuration file

Access the domain name, the following interface is displayed, click [Create Profile]▼

Step 2:Click【Get started now! 】▼

Step 3:Enter MySQL database information

Fill in your MySQL database information.

You need to pay attention to modify the "table prefix", please do not use the default wp_

Click【Submit】▼

Step 4:Successfully connected to the database, click [Install]▼

Step 5:Fill in the basic information of the website

It is not recommended to use the default username admin.

In addition, the password is best to achieve strong.

Click【Install WordPress】▼

Step 6:Click to Login】

After successful installation of WordPress, click [Login] ▼

Step 7:Using the username and password set above, log inWordPress backend ▼

Please Note

In step 2, if the configuration file wp-config.php cannot be created automatically, you can copy wp-config-sample.php in the WordPress root directory and rename it to wp-config.php ▼

Then, open the wp-config.php file, fill it out according to the example in the figure below, and upload it to the WordPress root directory ▼

Finally, refresh the WordPress installation interface, and you can continue with the installation from step 3.
