Benefit 1: Extra Income
- This is the most immediate benefit and the most real.

Benefit 2: If the child applies for PTPTN, the full loan can be obtained
- If your child is studying at university or university, you must apply for BSH aid in order to apply for a PTPTN loan.
- Since the government stipulates that only the parents are the beneficiaries of the aid, the child can receive the full loan when applying for the PTPTN.
- If the parent is not the recipient of the aid, the child can only receive 75% or 50% of the loan.
Benefit 3: Free health check with PeKa B40 plan
The Ministry of Health's National Health Screening Programme (PeKa B40) is expected to be launched in April and will only be open to BSH recipients over the age of 4.
BSH recipients over the age of 50 will receive this free inspection offer.
The program is divided into 4 parts, including:
- Free medical examination.
- Transportation subsidies.
- RM2,0000 medical device grant.
- Cancer chemotherapy completion incentives to encourage patients to undergo complete treatment.
In the free physical examination, the beneficiary can have a physical examination once a year in government and private clinics;
Medical equipment subsidies, which can be used to purchase equipment such as cataracts and pacemakers;
RM 1,000 for completion of cancer chemotherapy;
For transport subsidies, West Malaysia and East Malaysia will receive RM500 and RM1,000 respectively.
Benefit 4: MySalam Free Medical Card
- All beneficiaries of BSH Living Assistance will also have direct access to the Low-Income State Protection Scheme (MySalam), which enables low-income groups to receive Medicare care for 36 diseases without additional insurance.
- Once the insured confirms that they suffer from the 36 diseases covered, they will receive a one-off payment of RM8,000.
- The insured is entitled to a hospital allowance of RM50 per day for up to 14 days or RM700 during treatment in a government hospital.This can be applied for annually, but the maximum amount is RM700 per year.
Benefit 5: Free MyTV Digital TV Decoder
The government will give people free MyTV digital TV decoders, but only if they are eligible before"BR1M XNUMXMalaysia Aid"family.
Benefit 6: Other more benefits
As mentioned above, getting BSH aid also means you are a low-income family.
If you are introducing certain benefits, the government will use BSH beneficiaries to determine eligibility.
The government will also provide students from low-income families in primary and secondary schools with an annual start-up aid of RM100, which may take into account whether parents are beneficiaries of the aid.
