1Malaysia aid BR6M renamed living aid BSHR: distributed on June 6

Following the Pakatan Harapan coalition's victory in the general election, Prime Minister Mahathir announced that he would discontinue the use of the previous administration's "One Malaysia " slogan. This also means that all products and programs under the 1Malaysia slogan will be renamed, including the 1Malaysia People's Aid ( BR1M ).

Effective immediately, the 1Malaysia Aid (BR1M) will be renamed the Bantu Sara Hidup Rakyat ( BSHR ).

• It's a living aid fund so people don't get confused.

In addition, the first batch of BSH R (formerly known as BR1M) was distributed in February of this year, and the second batch will begin distribution on June 6, 2018.

BR1M 2018 aid is divided into 3 groups

• RM3000 for households with monthly income below RM1200
• RM3,000 for domestic households with monthly income between RM4000 to RM900
• Singles above 21 with monthly income less than RM2000 can get RM450living aid.

In 2018, BR1M will also be allocated in three phases, namely February, June and August.

Although Pakatan Harapan has mentioned in the election before, it will follow the campaign promise of Barisan Nasional and increase the original RM1200 aid to RM2000.

However, given the country's huge national debt, the pledge is not expected to be implemented this year.The projected aid amount remains the same as before.

Civil servants receive aid ahead of Hari Raya

After Prime Minister Mahathir chaired the 2nd Cabinet meeting, accompanied by cabinet ministers and members, the Prime Minister's Office held a press conference saying:

• All civil servants aged 41 and below will receive RM400 in aid before Hari Raya; retired civil servants will also receive RM200.
• He said the government would initiate or gradually implement the election manifestos and pledges within 100 days, but only if the normal functioning of the government was not affected and the current financial situation was taken into account.
• "When Pakatan Harapan made its manifesto, he did not expect the government's finances to be so bad, and when the Greek government came to power, it was found to be very bad, but it will still deliver on these promises, at least in XNUMX days."
