82 billion grants benefiting 960 million people

• Zafru said the government's aid to a Malaysian family in 2022 will benefit 960 million people, involving an allocation of RM82 billion.
• He pointed out that as of Jan 2022, 1, IRD had received 7 new and updated applications for assistance, of which 1,429,262 were new applications and 355,071 were updated applications for acceptance as a Malaysian Aid recipient.
• "Nearly 95 per cent of new applications and updated information applications are recorded online, which is a positive development as applicants do not need to go to a service counter to apply in person during the pandemic, which reduces the risk of infection."

2022 BKM Aid Application Eligibility Criteria

The Family Malaysia Grant (BKM) is a grant scheme launched by the government in 2022.

Families with a monthly income of not more than RM5,000 and single persons with a monthly income of not more than RM2,500 can receive government subsidies ▼

The application and renewal period for BKM assistance is from January 2022 to January 1, 1.

When will the BKM aid be released?

The BKM aid will be distributed in 4 phases, with the first phase starting in March.

• If you are an existing BPR, BKC or GKP recipient, you do not need to update your information if your information has not changed, and eligible individuals will be automatically listed for BKM assistance.
• If you have previously applied for BPR, BKC or GKP assistance and your application is rejected, you will automatically be considered for BKM assistance.
• The government will review the information you have submitted before, and those who meet the conditions will automatically receive BKM assistance.

Step 4:Enter required information such as occupation,cellphone number, monthly household income, marital status, address, bank information, etc...

• In the Occupation (Pekerjaan) section, you can choose Kerajaan if you are a civil servant, Swasta if you are working in the private sector, Bekerja Sendiri if you are self-employed, and Tidak Bekerja if you are unemployed or unemployed.
• In the Monthly Salary (Pendapatan Kasar Bulanan Isi Rumah) section, you need to manually enter your monthly salary information.
• In the column of marital status, married people can choose Kahwin, and divorced people can choose Cerai, widows can choose Kematian Pasangan, and singles can choose Bujang.
